LOVE TAG

My great friend Jess thinks that everybody needs to feel like they are loved.I happen to agree and so I have put this tag on my blog too.

Here are the rules:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is most memorable. If you don't have a blog and don't know how to sign in, please comment as anonymous.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

3. If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all ☺ Okay, let's see what you've got!

WOW!! I totally forgot about our 'presidency mtg' sleepover when we were young! I was talking to Beth about it on Sunday and she just told me she has PICTURES!! so funny, can't wait to see them. Ok, so that was a great memory.

also, rather than having a specific thing, I just remember in general you were always energized, ready to go do whatever. You were never afraid to be who you are, to speak out/up. I was a somewhat shy thing and here was my good friend full of confidence and spunk and laughter! I truly admired you for that!

I am truly grateful to have had such wonderful friends to grow up with and I think it's AWESOME that we've been able to keep in better touch (mostly via blog).

you ARE loved! :)

Where do I even begin? First, I can't believe Jessica forgot about that presidency meeting. Good times.
It seems that most of my Florida memories have you as a big part of them. You were always there. Band, boys, dances, school, church, sleepovers. You name it and you were there. I remember walks home after school. I remember a sleepover where we were laughing so much that your dad said he’d always wished he could’ve been a fly on the wall at those kinds of girly get-togethers. I remember your briefcase full of 50’s music and I was in heaven. Those rides to and from seminary with your dad listening to “the rest of the story.” We were introduced to chocolate chip muffins at the Coakwell’s house then we would randomly bring some to snack on instead of sleeping during the Book of Mormon tape listening session. I remember a youth conference that we were separated most of the time but we got to sit together at lunch with James Cutshaw. You and I were talking about my crush on John Saxon. James figured out who we were talking about and took it upon himself to talk to John about it. I have pictures of John and I at a church dance with you and CR. If I recall correctly that was about the time it all started for you two. You two were always made for each other. I remember how much you talked about him while you were at Ricks and how exciting it was for my roommates and I when he came to see you after his mission. You two came to visit us at our apartment. You and your roommates were the ones to introduce me to Anne of Green Gables. You and CR came down and visited us in Illinois on your way home from Nebraska. Now that’s a true friend who will go out of their way, no matter how short the stay, just to say hi. I was so glad you did. I loved how it seemed that you were the same old Missy. Then when Glen mentioned the military was sending him to Orlando for a conference, I said I’m coming to see my Missy. You went out of your way to get us tickets and got your mom to babysit so we could all go out for the dinner show. That was so much fun even though poor CR had allergies. Then you took us to Disney (I still need to get pictures from you=) but I remember just getting together at the park so the kids could play and we were just chatting and I was wishing we lived closer. I remember when I first moved to Hawaii and was so homesick. I hadn’t even thought about the time difference when I called. I think it was 3 in the morning and your mom was so sweet to let us talk. And it’s still the same. I’m so glad we keep in touch, even if it’s just a little here and there. I’m blessed to have you as my forever friend. Remember we had silly nicknames for each other. I can’t remember if you were Smokey or Pokey. And we kept getting pictures in those photo booths. I have a Wanted poster from Walmart and we thought it was hilarious that on the list of things we were wanted for was Jaywalking. Holy cow, we had so much fun. I love you so much and still wish we lived closer. Glen even talks about putting Patrick AFB on his dream sheet when I start reminiscing like this.

Let's see, a fun memory. Wow, that's going back years. It was fun having you in ten tones. I still have the homecoming picture of you, me, and CR. That was fun. It was good to see you again at the wedding reception too. You have a beautiful family.
