David Cook!

Ok can I just say I love this boy. He can sing!I about jumped out of my skin when he won, I was so happy for him. I love his voice and his face ain't so bad either=)I found some of his music and put it on my music player immediately. Enjoy and congratulations David.

Chace's Field Day

Wow what a blast. The kids had a great time and I think the pictures speak for them selves. Chace got to be in the sack race, three legged race, and the tug of war(which his class won. Yeah!)Anyway I loved seeing him participate and get wet=)

Makai's Water Day

Yesturday Makai had a water day at school. It was lots of fun. The kids got to wear their bathing suits and play outside with water sprinklers and other water toys. Makai also got to play with sidewalk chalk and blow bubbles. I love being a stay at home mom and having the time to go to the school and enjoy these moments with the kids. I cherish them all.

Disney, Again=)

We love our Disney. Cr had Tuesday this past week off and since he hardly ever has the weekends off we don't spend a lot of time together as family. So we decided to let the boys skip school ( aren't we awesome parents?)and we took them to Disney instead. It was a bit of a rough day because a few of us got up on the wrong side of the bed however I am so grateful that we got to spend this time together as a family. So I thought I would share a few photos. Enjoy.

Camping

So I finally decided to take the time and write about several things that have taken place the last week or so. The first is I promised to write about our camping trip.Well it was a lot of fun but also a lot of work. I love camping ( no idea why, because it so much work)but even this last trip was a stresser for me. I think alot of that was because Cr had to work so he did not stay Friday night with me and I had 3 kids and a dog by myself. I know, I am crazy. That night the kids had a great time earning their astronomy beltloop by using a telescope to look at the stars. They also saw several night animals including a few owls. They loved that. We turned in around 10:30 pm.It was quite warm being May in Florida so it was a bit hard for all of us to fall asleep. Then Shaylyn woke up several times during the night.Anyway I did not get much sleep. The morning was great. We made omeletes in a bag. You put your eggs and all of your ingredients except the cheese in a bag and then you mix it up and boil it in a big pot. It takes about 10 minutes and they come out light and fluffy and oh so yummy. Shaylyn loved doing her omelete. After Breakfast the boys all went on a hike. They saw alot of great animals and habitats.Shaylyn and I took a nap while they hiked. The boys got to play games and do all kinds of fun stuff. We learned about maps and compasses and learned a new game. We had lunch and played some more. That evening we had foil dinners and roasted hot dogs over the fire. The kids realy liked doing that. They also practicedplaying mini golf because that evening we were going to play glow in the dark golf. We decided to pack up and leave beforethen. I was so tired and the dog and the kids were covered from head to toe in dirt ( which you can see in the pictures) and I wanted to get home and clean them up before it got to late. All in all it was a great time.

This weekend we are going camping with the scouts so wish me luck and I will write all about it and post pictures when we get back.

Chace's special Day

Wow, what a day. Chace was baptized today. My baby became a big boy today. The general feeling today being a truly amazing one. I think you can tell by the smile on Chace's face how he felt. I am so grateful for the knowledge we have of our Heavenly Fathers' plans for us and how we can follow Jesus's example and be baptized.Enjoy the slide show and try not to cry.Don't forget to pause the music at the side of our blog before you watch the slideshow. Lots of love from our family to yours.

Busy Weekend

Wow we had a very busy weekend so far. On Friday we had the house we want to buy inspected. Everything was great. There were a few minor changes or fixes that need to be done but the inspector told me I was buying a winner so that made me feel really great. Then today we had the annual scout show. This is a carnival like setting where all the different cub scout and boy scout groups get to have a booth and show off things we have been doing throughout the year.It was beyond hot, for example we were under the tent cover for all but 1 hour and within that 1 hour I got fried!! So it was HOT!!The boys had a great time hanging out and playing at the booths. I unfortunately forgot my camera so I have no pictures to share. I am sorry. We were at the scout show from 10am to 2:30 and then we went over to a carnival at the Lakefront in downtown St. Cloud called Smoke N Blues, Bikes and BBQ where Daddy was working a booth for Fairwinds. We stayed there from around 2:45 to about 4:30. Needless to say I was very tired. We made dinner and I put the kids to bed early tonight. Hopefully I will be able to sleep. We have the inspection and the appraisal done on the house so now we are just waiting for the appraisers' report and they will draw up our paperwork for the house. This will be the time when we find out the bottom line loan and what our monthly mortgage will be and how much we need to have for closing. We should have this paperwork by Wed. or Thursday. After the paperwork there is one final step getting the loan where an underwriter reviews the paperwork and says yes or no on the actual loan. If the underwriter says yes then we move to the last step which is closing on the house and then it is ours. Yeah. Keep us in your prayers and I will let you know more when I know more.Hope everyone else had a great weekend.
